 Student / Family Agreement 
 Students 
To help me do well, I will do my best to:
  1. Not miss class and be on time.
  2. Work hard and believe that I can do well.
  3. Ask for help from a teacher or someone at home if I don‘t understand my work.
  4. Do my homework and catch up with work that I miss.
  5. Keep the program and school rules, behave well and be polite and helpful to others.
  6. Talk at home about what I learn at school.
  7. Wear school dress and be tidy in my appearance.
  8. Have a bag, the correct equipment and clothing for lessons.
  9. Take part in the school‘s clubs and visits.
  10. Not swear or use abusive language. Be respectful of others abilities/disabilities.
  11. Respect the school and local community environment and not drop litter or write graffiti.
  12. Walk sensibly on the right, inside the building.
  13. Pass on letters and information to my parents.
  14. Behave well on the way to and from school.
 Family 
To help my child I will do my best to:
  1. Make sure that my child attends school regularly and on time.
  2. Encourage my child to work hard and make the most of his/her opportunities.
  3. Contact the school on the morning of any absence and provide the school with a note explaining this absence.
  4. Provide a quiet working space for my child to do homework every night and check that this homework is completed regularly.
  5. Work with the school to make sure that my child behaves properly and follows school rules.
  6. Support the school if it becomes necessary to discipline my child.
  7. Attend meetings with teachers to discuss my child‘s progress and achievements.
  8. See that my child wears school dress and is properly prepared and equipped for school each day.
  9. Let the school know if there are any problems that affect my child‘s ability to learn.
  10. Encourage my child to join the school‘s clubs and visits.
 The Program and School 
GIP will do its best to:
  1. Provide a learning environment that is stimulating, safe and caring.
  2. Ensure that you make the most of your opportunities.
  3. Make sure that all lessons are well prepared and appropriate to your needs.
  4. Set a planned program of homework that will be monitored and marked promptly.
  5. Let parents/caregivers know how you are progressing.
  6. Contact your parents/caregivers if we are concerned about your standard of work, behavior, punctuality or attendance.
  7. Welcome parents/caregivers into the life of the school and keep them informed about work planned for you.
  8. Offer a range of additional activities/clubs to enrich your experience of school.
  9. Celebrate student success.
  10. Value each of our students equally.
  11. Offer all students a broad and balanced curriculum.
  12. Deal with any parental concerns promptly.
  13. Value all students equally.
